2-Ingredient Donuts (No Yeast or Eggs!)
Looking for a healthier option for breakfast? These 2-ingredient donuts are the answer!

These 2 ingredient donuts come together fast using magic 2-ingredient dough. They’re soft, fluffy, and perfect for a quick treat anytime.
You can bake, air-fry, or fry them, but frying gives the best golden outside and tender donut texture. Add your favorite topping and enjoy fresh, warm donuts in minutes.
What’s in 2-ingredient donuts?
This recipe uses the magic Weight Watchers 2-ingredient dough. It’s just two simple ingredients with tons of variations!

- Self-Rising Flour: Self rising flour combines all purpose flour with salt and the leavening agents: baking soda and baking powder. You can buy this at most grocery stores, or make your own using King Arthur Flour’s recipe.
- Yogurt: You can use either regular yogurt or greek yogurt for this recipe. Flavored yogurt makes the donuts sweeter (I love vanilla yogurt in this recipe) Regular yogurt makes lighter donuts, and greek yogurt ups the protein content.
- Oil (For frying only): If you choose to fry your donuts, you will need a frying oil. My favorite is vegetable oil, but canola oil also works well!

Bake, Air-Fry, or Fry?
I tried the 2 options so you wouldn’t have to. Here’s my thoughts:

- Baked: These had the consistency of bread, but with the sweetness and some vanilla icing, they worked as a sort of cake donut.
- Air-Fried: This was my least favorite. The donuts were very heavy, more like a bagel than a donut. However, they still tasted good, so you can still make this work!
- Fried: This was my favorite. The frying gives them a lighter feeling, and they are the most donut-like of the bunch. This is the least healthy way to make your donuts, so keep that in mind.
Icing and Glaze Options
Here are some of my favorite recipes to top your donuts!
- Chocolate Glaze
- Vanilla Glaze (There are multiple here: I really l like the vanilla one!)
- Donut Glaze (for glazed donuts)
- Cinnamon Sugar

While all three methods work, frying gives the donuts the best texture and flavor—crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. Baking and air-frying are great lighter options, but they tend to be more biscuit-like.
