Ingredients

cups
self-rising flour
plus more for kneading
1
cup
greek yogurt
1
tbsp
baking soda
2
cups
water
coarse salt or cinnamon sugar topping
optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°.
In a large bowl, mix flour and yogurt to create a sticky dough.
Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead until dough is no longer sticky.
Split dough into 4 equal parts. Roll each part into a long rope. Cut the rope into 10-12 equal pieces and place them on a lined baking sheet.
In a sauce pan, bring water and baking soda to boiling. Dip dough pieces into boiling water, then replace them on the baking sheet.
Bake bites at 400° for 8-10 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
Brush tops of bites with melted butter or water, then top with salt or cinnamon sugar.
